About ConstellationDB
A database of 102 constellations with mythology, brightest stars, and deep sky objects.
It covers every constellation recognized by the International Astronomical Union. Each page gives the part of the sky where the constellation lies (northern, equatorial, or southern), its area in square degrees, what the figure represents, and a short guide to its story, notable stars, and objects worth finding with binoculars or a telescope.
Browse by hemisphere from the home page, jump to the twelve zodiac constellations, or search by name or symbol. Each constellation page links to others in the same part of the sky.
