About Corona Borealis
The Northern Crown. A semicircle of stars forming a distinctive crown pattern. Alphecca is the brightest star, also known as Gemma, the gem of the crown. T Coronae Borealis is a recurrent nova known as the Blaze Star that flares up roughly every 80 years, last seen in 1946. The Abell 2065 galaxy cluster contains over 400 galaxies. Visible in summer from northern latitudes.
