Delphinus
About Delphinus
The Dolphin. A small but distinctive constellation with a diamond-shaped pattern called Jobs Coffin. Despite being small, it is easily recognizable in summer skies. Sualocin and Rotanev are the brightest stars, names that read backwards as Nicolaus Venator, the Latinized name of the assistant astronomer who named them. Contains the globular cluster NGC 6934 and the planetary nebula NGC 6891.
