The Dragon. Winds between the Big and Little Dippers. Thuban was the pole star during the construction of the Egyptian pyramids around 2,800 BC. Eltanin is the brightest star, 154 light-years away. The Catseye Nebula is one of the most complex planetary nebulae known. Draco contains the Kepler-10 system with one of the smallest exoplanets discovered. Circumpolar for northern observers, never setting.
