About Hercules
The Hero. The Keystone asterism forms the body. M13, the Great Globular Cluster, contains several hundred thousand stars and is the brightest globular in the northern sky. Visible to the naked eye on dark nights. Hercules is the fifth largest constellation but contains no first magnitude stars. Named after the Greek hero known for his twelve labors.
