The Scales. The only zodiac constellation representing an inanimate object. Zubenelgenubi and Zubeneschamali are its brightest stars, Arabic names meaning southern and northern claw, from when the stars belonged to Scorpius. Zubeneschamali may appear greenish to some observers, one of the few stars that can appear green. Contains the recently discovered Gliese 581 system with potentially habitable planets.
