Pegasus
About Pegasus
The Winged Horse. The Great Square of Pegasus is a prominent autumn asterism. Markab, Scheat, Algenib, and Alpheratz form the square, though Alpheratz technically belongs to Andromeda. Only the front half of Pegasus is depicted in the sky. 51 Pegasi was the first Sun-like star found to have an exoplanet in 1995. The globular cluster M15 contains over 100,000 stars and may host an intermediate-mass black hole.
