About Summer Triangle
A giant triangle joining Vega in Lyra, Deneb in Cygnus, and Altair in Aquila, overhead on summer evenings. The name was popularized in the 1950s. The Milky Way flows between its corners, split by the Great Rift of dark dust. All three stars rank among the 15 brightest in the night sky, and each anchors the lore of its own constellation.
