Winter Triangle

About Winter Triangle

A striking equatorial triangle linking Betelgeuse in Orion, Sirius in Canis Major, and Procyon in Canis Minor. Sirius and Procyon rank among the very brightest stars, while red Betelgeuse adds color contrast. Easy to trace on winter evenings from both hemispheres. The triangle sits in a rich stretch of the winter Milky Way full of clusters and nebulae.
