The Centaur. Contains Alpha Centauri, the closest star system at 4.37 light-years. Alpha Centauri is a triple system with Proxima Centauri being the nearest star to our Sun. Proxima Centauri b orbits in the habitable zone. Omega Centauri is the largest globular cluster in the Milky Way with about 10 million stars. NGC 5128 or Centaurus A is one of the closest active galactic nuclei to Earth.
