About Sagittarius

The Archer. Points toward the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The Teapot asterism is its most recognizable pattern. The galactic center contains a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A*. Richest part of the Milky Way with dense star clouds and nebulae. The Lagoon Nebula M8 and Trifid Nebula M20 are stunning binocular targets. Solar System is about 26,000 light-years from Sagittarius A*.
