About Crater

The Cup. A faint constellation associated with Corvus the Crow. Represents the cup of Apollo in Greek mythology. Contains few notable deep sky objects. The Crater 2 dwarf galaxy is one of the largest dwarf galaxies orbiting the Milky Way, extremely faint and extended. Best viewed in April from southern latitudes. The brightest star Delta Crateris is an orange giant 195 light-years away.
