About Horologium
The Pendulum Clock. Introduced by Lacaille in the 1750s to honor the pendulum clock invented by Christiaan Huygens. A long, faint constellation between Eridanus and Reticulum. Contains the globular cluster NGC 1261 and the barred spiral galaxy NGC 1512. The Horologium Supercluster is a vast concentration of galaxies far beyond. Its brightest star is only of fourth magnitude.
